When I'm in the public's eye, I try to be an eye-full.
I find that many modern clothiers make great fashions, but they complete a "look" for the runway of a standing model. Clothes will always look, fit, and lay differently when you are seated. For those of us in wheelchairs, prosthetics, and various disabilities... we have more of a focused need for clothes that are better suited for our individual, customized needs. LegaWear has revolutionized the fashion world by filling that void in fashion and meeting the needs of a community otherwise ignored. Their clothing styles are elegant, classic, and completely seamless... as models of their clothing look like they were meant for the runway also, despite the individual's adaptations. Prior to LegaWear, our sole option was to buy something that looked "okay" while seated and spend a fortune having it tailored to our customized needs... many times only to realize the end result looks so different than when we saw the outfit on clothing hangar. Whether in a professional presentation, interview, or on the runway... I always felt more confident and comfortable wearing David Lega's designs. LegaWear creations take the focus off the equipment and adaptations, and put the emphasis on the sharply dressed individual using them. David's clothes offer us the individuality and customization that each of our personalities strive to portray, but have not previously had a clothier to accommodate our vision. Thank you for your tireless work, elegant fashion sense, and your open heart for allowing our community the confidence and image that we have so earnestly desired! Lt.
